Patrick Brown, a remarkable athlete, has earned a stellar reputation as a two-time national champion and a Tri-Nation victor. Notably, he secured silver medals in both the Lithuanian Tamner Tournament and the Hungarian Bocksai Tournament, even while nursing an injured hand. His remarkable journey has taken him around the globe, competing at international events.
Fresh from his experience at the American Olympic training camp in Colorado, Patrick's dedication to his sport is unmistakable. He has also engaged in training sessions on an international scale, honing his skills in Kazakhstan and Italy.
Patrick Brown's achievements in the ring and his commitment to representing his nation on the global stage have earned him well-deserved acclaim. His story is an inspiration to aspiring athletes and showcases the prowess of British boxing on an international level.
On 25 November 2024, Brown turned professional, signing a promotional contract with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing.[18][19] He made his pro-debut against Federico Javier Grandone at Planet Ice in Altrincham on 28 March 2025, winning by stoppage in the fourth of their scheduled six-round contest.[20][21] According to Frank Smith, Matchroom Boxing's chief executive officer, Brown sold over 1,200 tickets for the event.[22]
His second professional bout was against Ivan Duka at bp pulse LIVE Arena in Birmingham on 21 June 2025, on the Galal Yafai vs Francisco Rodriguez undercard.[23] Brown won by stoppage in the second round.[24] Two weeks later, on 5 July 2025, Brown was back in action against Lewis Oakford at the AO Arena in Manchester on the undercard of Jack Catterall vs Harlem Eubank. He stopped his opponent in the first round.[25][26]
On 13 September 2025, he made it four consecutive stoppage wins with a second round technical knockout victory over Austine Nnamdi at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland.[27][28]
Brown is scheduled to make his United States debut on 1 November 2025 against former WBA interim light-heavyweight champion, Felix Valera, in his first 10-round contest.
